My Journey to Dream Number 2

For the past months, I was under confusion on where to establish my career. I was working back then as an AR associate in a Real Estate Company. I felt like the job was not for me and I couldn’t see myself doing the task for a long period of time. It stole precious time from my family and I had to sacrifice my health and social life because of it. Then I met this charismatic group, THE FEAST, they introduced to me the Novena to God’s love. It is where you write all your dreams and you pray for it everyday. I did that. I wrote seven dreams. One of which is to be employed in one of the BIG 4 Auditing Firm worldwide. Simultaneously, I was also reading Joel Osteen’s books and other inspirational books. I remembered that someone said that it is helpful to write your dreams and post it on the spot which you often stare at in your room. Again, I did that. I wrote 7 of them and posted it on the closet beside our bed. I also posted the prayer.
Every day as I wake up in the morning and every night before I sleep, I see my dreams and reminds me of what I’m aspiring for. At first I thought the whole idea is weird. But guess what, within 2 months after doing that, one of my dreams was answered. And that is dream number 2. I’m about to start working in one of the BIG 4 Auditing firms this coming Monday.
I believe that being reminded of your dreams motivates you to move towards it. It makes you focus. And along with that is a fervent prayer to God to guide you. And this was how I got my dream.
And for the remaining 6 dreams, I’m looking forward to have it soon if God wills it.

Dad’s leaving the Philippines in less than 48 hours

It breaks my heart knowing that dad’s going back to KSA on Friday. 1 month is not enough to cover the days missed in 3 years. I feel like we just went to the airport few days ago and now we’re bringing him back again there because he’s returning to Riyadh. It’s killing me because just like with my mom, I can’t afford yet to keep them both here in the Philippines. Yet, I’m still hoping the someday, in God’s time, they wouldn’t need to go abroad to work. They’ll just have their own businesses. I don’t care if they don’t get back together. What matters is both of them are here with us.
